Panther Alumni Week Visiting Speaker Carlos Rafael Rivera

The extraordinary FIU alumnus composer Carlos Rafael Rivera visited Mesut Özgen's guitar class at FIU during the Panther Alumni Week on February 2, 2015, sharing his invaluable experiences as a professional musician with the guitar students.

Rivera is a commissioned and award winning composer whose career has spanned several genres of the music industry. His soundtrack for Universal Pictures’ A WALK AMONG THE TOMBSTONES, starring Liam Neeson and directed by Scott Frank, is now available through Varèse-Sarabande Records.
