2019 Spring and Summer Concerts
Mesut's upcoming concerts will be in Germany, Turkey, and Italy. The first concert will be at the Nordhorn International Guitar Festival from April 24-28. Ozgen will present two solo concerts and conduct a masterclass. He will also be serving in the jury of performance and composition competitions. Other featured festival artists will include 12 Gerhard Reichenbach, Alberto Mesirca, Johan Fostier, Stefan Grasse, Grigory Novikov, Anton Baranov, Emma Rush, and Anido Guitar Duo.
The Turkey concert will be as part of the XII. Guitar Convention of Turkey to be held at the Bilkent University from June 19-22, 2019. He will also conduct a seminar and masterclass in the convention, which includes concerts, lectures, workshops, and masterclasses, featuring international artists from Turkey and around the world.
The Italy concert will be as part of the Suoni Dal Legno International Guitar Festival in Todi on July 28th. Mesut will also be giving masterclasses from July 22 to August 2, 2019. The festival, directed by Emiliano Leonardi, will be featuring guitarists Massimo Agostinelli, Francesco Battista, and Maristella Focaroli, Alvarez guitar quartet, as well as clarinetist Giampietro Giumento, flutists Giovanni Mugnuolo and Charina Quintana, cellist Angel Luis Quintana, violinist Fabio Imbergamo, and pianist lelyzaveta Pluzhko.
